Set-up: Stand in front of a cable tower, set the pulley to head height and use the rope attachment. Stand with a tight core, a slight bend in the knees, shoulder blades retracted, and a neutral back.
Lift: Pull the rope towards and passed the head, with the split in the rope approaching, but not touching the nose. Return the cable to the point where the arms are straight, but the shoulder blades are still retracted.
Emphasis: Do not push the head or torso forward to meet the rope - your back, neck and head should remain the same relative positions throughout the lift. The upper arms should be flared to the sides.
