Set-up: Standing next to a cable tower with an ankle hold attached, place the ankle of your working leg inside the attachment. Make sure the attachment is secure and unbreakable. Take several small steps away from the object, keeping the working leg on the far side of the cable tower. Move to a distance where there is suitable tension in the working leg from the cable.
Lift: Take the far leg and raise it away from the body to the side. Hold briefly at the top position and return the working leg to the stabilizing leg. Repeat for desired repetitions and then switch sides.
Repetitions: Perform all prescribed reps on one side, then on the other. This counts as one set.
