Set-up: Make sure your environment is safe to perform this movement in. Hold the medicine ball with both hands in front of your chest. Engage your core and slightly bend your knees.
Movement: Raise the ball overhead with extended arms. As you lift, come up onto your toes for full extension (jumping if your body has no limitations). Keep your core tight. Explosively slam the ball straight down onto the ground in front of you. Use your whole body (arms, abs, legs) to generate power. Bend your knees and hips to follow the slam down. Catch the ball on the bounce (if it rebounds) or pick it up quickly. Return to the starting position and repeat.
