INFORMATION COLLECTION AND USE
General
BodBot collects personal information when you register with BodBot, when you use BodBot tools or services and when you visit BodBot pages. This information includes your age, metric preferences, and other exercise and nutrition details. BodBot may combine information about you that we have with information we obtain from business partners or other companies.
BodBot also stores the data you track about exercise, nutrition and anything else you choose to record.
When you register we ask for information such as your name, email address, birth date, gender, ZIP code, occupation, industry, and personal interests. When you register with BodBot and sign in to our services, you are not anonymous to us.
BodBot collects information about your transactions with us and with some of our business partners, including information about your use of financial products and services that we offer.
BodBot automatically receives and records information from your computer and browser, including your IP address, BodBot cookie information, software and hardware attributes, and the page you request.
BodBot uses information for the following general purposes: to customize the recommendations and plans we design for you, tailor the advertising (data exempted: those from Apple and Google services, listed in the next paragraph) and content you see, fulfill your requests for products and services, improve our services, contact you, conduct research, and provide anonymous reporting for internal and external clients. Your information - in particular your name and email address - are necessary to create an account and receive BodBot's recommendations.
BodBot sends, receives, and retains data to and from Apple's HealthKit Application and Google's Google Fit Application. BodBot also receives data from Google's Sign In functionality. We store your personal information for a period of time that is consistent with our business purposes.
INFORMATION SHARING AND DISCLOSURE
BodBot does not rent, sell, or share personal information about you with other people or non-affiliated companies except to provide products or services you've requested, when we have your permission, or under the following circumstances:
We provide the information to trusted partners who work on behalf of or with BodBot under confidentiality agreements: Google and Apple. These companies may use your personal information to help BodBot communicate with you about offers from BodBot and our marketing partners. However, these companies do not have any independent right to share this information.
We respond to subpoenas, court orders, or legal process, or to establish or exercise our legal rights or defend against legal claims.
We believe it is necessary to share information in order to investigate, prevent, or take action regarding illegal activities, suspected fraud, situations involving potential threats to the physical safety of any person, violations of BodBot's terms of use, or as otherwise required by law.
We transfer information about you if BodBot is acquired by or merged with another company. In this event, BodBot will notify you before information about you is transferred and becomes subject to a different privacy policy.
BodBot will not use or share health data collected through HealthKit and Google Fit - nor data collected through Google Sign In - with advertising platforms, data brokers or information resellers.
BodBot displays targeted advertisements based on personal information. Advertisers (including ad serving companies) may assume that people who interact with, view, or click targeted ads meet the targeting criteria-for example, women ages 18-24 from a particular geographic area.
BodBot does not provide any personal information to the advertiser when you interact with or view a targeted ad. However, by interacting with or viewing an ad you are consenting to the possibility that the advertiser will make the assumption that you meet the targeting criteria used to display the ad.
BodBot advertisers include financial service providers (such as banks, insurance agents, stock brokers and mortgage lenders) and non-financial companies (such as stores, airlines, and software companies).
COOKIES
BodBot may set and access BodBot cookies on your computer.
BodBot lets other companies that show advertisements on some of our pages set and access their cookies on your computer. Other companies' use of their cookies is subject to their own privacy policies, not this one. Advertisers or other companies do not have access to BodBot's cookies.
BodBot uses web beacons to access BodBot cookies inside and outside our network of web sites and in connection with BodBot products and services.
Your Ability to Edit and Delete Your Account Information and Preferences
General
You can manage your BodBot Account Information, including your marketing preferences, at any time; this includes deleting your data, downloading it, fixing mistakes, transfering it to a 3rd party, and having BodBot stop using it. This includes data that BodBot has retained from Apple and Google services. Contact information@bodbot.com to do so.
We reserve the right to send you certain communications relating to the BodBot service, such as service announcements, administrative messages and the BodBot Newsletter, that are considered part of your BodBot account, without offering you the opportunity to opt out of receiving them.

CONFIDENTIALITY AND SECURITY
We limit access to personal information about you to employees who we believe reasonably need to come into contact with that information to provide products or services to you or in order to do their jobs.
We have physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards that comply with federal regulations to protect personal information about you.
CHANGES TO THIS PRIVACY POLICY
BodBot may update this policy. We will notify you about significant changes in the way we treat personal information by sending a notice to the primary email address specified in your BodBot account or by placing a prominent notice on our site.
INTERNATIONAL PRIVACY LAWS
If you are visiting BodBot from outside the United States, please be aware that you are sending information (including Personal Data) to the United States where our servers are located. That information may then be transferred within the United States or back out of the United States to other countries outside of your country of residence, depending on the type of information and how it is stored by us. These countries (including the United States) may not necessarily have data protection laws as comprehensive or protective as those in your country of residence, however, our collection, storage and use of your Personal Data will at all times continue to be governed by this Privacy Policy.
YOUR RIGHTS
Per the GDPR, you have the following rights:
The right to be informed – all organisations must be completely transparent in how they are using personal data (personal data may include data such as a work email and work mobile if they are specific to an individual).
The right of access - individuals will have the right to know exactly what information is held about them and how it is processed.
The right of rectification - individuals will be entitled to have personal data rectified if it is inaccurate or incomplete.
The right to erasure - also known as 'the right to be forgotten', this refers to an individual's right to having their personal data deleted or removed without the need for a specific reason as to why they wish to discontinue.
The right to restrict processing - an individual's right to block or suppress processing of their personal data.
The right to data portability - this allows individuals to retain and reuse their personal data for their own purpose.
The right to object - in certain circumstances, individuals are entitled to object to their personal data being used. This includes, if a company uses personal data for the purpose of direct marketing, scientific and historical research, or for the performance of a task in the public interest.
Rights of automated decision making and profiling - the GDPR has put in place safeguards to protect individuals against the risk that a potentially damaging decision is made without human intervention. For example, individuals can choose not to be the subject of a decision where the consequence has a legal bearing on them, or is based on automated processing.
